I'm the CEO and founder of Autonomy, which is the company behind the OpenPLC project. Currently OpenPLC is considered as a valuable tool for control system research and education, and is used by major research institutions around the globe.I'm also a senior embedded firmware developer at FACTS Engineering, LLC, aiding in the development and further advancement of its Productivity line of PLCs. For this task, I'm building and leading a remote work force team which will assist in advancing Productivity CPU development.Previous to joining FACTS and Autonomy, I was the Head of Security Research at Mosyle. Mosyle provides mobile device management solutions to help you securely manage teams of Apple devices. My goal was to make sure Mosyle is always one step ahead in the security of their products and the solutions they offer.As a Ph.D. student, I worked in the development of an intelligent PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) that uses artificial intelligence to understand and avoid cyber attacks. During this time I participated in the modeling of several cyber-physical environments including a gas pipeline, a water treatment plant and a small power grid. Those simulated environments were used to benchmark the intelligent PLC.During this time, I was also awarded as outstanding Graduate Student for 2019 by the Executive Committee of the College of Engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, in recognition for having “excelled in the areas of teaching, research and service”. I'm also the recipient of NYU Tandon Cyber Security Awareness Week Prize, the world’s largest student-run cyber security competition, for winning first place in the Embedded Security Challenge with my innovative security solution for OpenPLC.In 2018 I spoke at DEF CON, one of the world’s largest and most notable hacker conventions, held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada.
