Graduated in Computer Engineering (2007) from PUC-Rio, Master (2009) and Doctor (2014) in Computer Science also from PUC-Rio. His main areas of expertise are Software Engineering and Distributed Systems, focusing on: software quality, self-adaptable systems and recovery-oriented systems. Thiago is also a serial entrepreneur, developing new businesses in the past decade. He is the owner of AevoTech, a Venture Builder focused on tech startups that provides software engineering as a service for Startups and Innovation projects in the Industry, mainly addressing the gap between agility, flexibility, confiability and costs. The AevoTech's methodology was developed during his PhD (even not being the thesis) and in the context of innovation projects for the oil&gas market. Several startups were supported by this program in the past decade, having among them Instanteaser, Biz.u, BeBrave and WinePad.
