Starting as treasurer, I facilitated the company's merger with a Private Equity Fund, instituting corporate governance structures, IPO policies, Committees, and a Board of Directors. Overseeing network expansion until 2015, the main shareholder regained control due to the absence of an IPO window. Amid the 2015 crisis, we faced significant revenue decline, prompting a restructuring plan (Turnaround). Successfully renegotiating 100% of the debt, we obtained approval for Brazil's largest Extrajudicial Recovery with major banks in 2016. I spearheaded all structural changes outlined in the Turnaround Plan and filed for Judicial Recovery in 2020, effectively resolving the group's debt. Leading teams across Accounting, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Receivable, Tax, Financial Services, and Marketing, I developed and managed daily, monthly, and annual Cash Flow, strategically planning for 440+ stores. Pioneering the launch of embedded finance, we offered diverse financial products such as Insurance, Cards, Health, etc. I cultivated strong relationships with Suppliers, Banks, FIDCs, Investors, and Funds for funding, credit cards, and receivables, while contributing to constructing and periodically reviewing the annual budget. Ensuring seamless integration, I provided information support for controlling, accounting, and external auditing.
