Highly-motivated R&D Sr. Scientist currently in the field of Laser Diodes and semiconductor optoelectronic devices, with a PhD in Nanotechnology/Materials Science, working at a fast-pace startup environment in a multi-disciplinary team of high level scientists.My interests involve nanotechnology, compound semiconductors, silicon photonics, optoelectronic devices, device and applied physics, most importantly research and development of technologies that will play a game-changing role in industry and people's lives. I am a results-driven, goal-oriented, creative and self-motivated scientist with excellent teamwork and communication skills, along with strong problem solving and analytical proficiency, committed to the success of the organization.Industry and PhD research experience:- Extensive understanding of device physics and semiconductor material properties;- Knowledge of device simulation/modeling;- Proficiency in design of test structures and experimental characterization setups (including, but not only, high-resolution spectroscopy);- Data analysis, establishing correlation between epitaxial structure and device performance;- Key role in design of epitaxial structures to achieve electro-optical performance of optoelectronic devices;- Familiar with device fabrication techniques in clean room environment.
