Coordinating a project to introduce a laboratory responsible to approve components for heavy and semi-heavy trucks industry, fulfilling new design and quality criteria never seen in this industry, on global level, unifying in Brazil responsibilities from correlated areas in Sweden and Netherlands. This unification model is a base for global implementation. Management of project team composed by engineers, quality analyst (SQA), mechanical, metrology and logistic technicians, securing important project milestones by evaluating and approving the mentioned components according to agreed time plan, and reporting the project status for the executive managers. Pioneer development of reverse engineer equipment, building requirements specification supported by European and Asiatic suppliers, balancing technical requirements and approved budget around millions R$, not compromising other procurements within the program. I am responsible to secure product requirements, never seen on the local supply chain, challenging their process and technology capabilities. Securing interchangeability between Scania components despite of whether is supplied by Brazil or European countries. Other responsibilities are creating time plans to secure and optimize resources by delivery, change of scope requests, documenting the approval between different project steps, identifying, addressing and following deviations up.

Transferring technical knowledge on new electrical systems and architecture, product functions from Sweden to Brazil. Planning, executing and monitoring validation field tests of complete vehicles including the first vehicle tested outside Europe before the biggest launch of the new Scania truck generation, ever. Identifying deviations that might compromise the high-performance level of a premium truck, before it’s market launch. I have coordinated field tests of buses and trucks among Scania customers, validating functions, components and the electrical system integration, performing software and hardware updates. Understand and report the vehicle’s performance in different application areas according to Scania customers business, and evaluate the product properties and key purchasing factors, translating this information into technical data for many different research and development areas in Brazil and Sweden.

Responsible to validate software and hardware for electronic control units of the automotive industry. Creating automatized tests with aim to optimize the validation process and increase its efficiency. During this time, I have implemented CAN J1939 software tests using Vector tools like CANoe and CANalyzer, and bench test using National Instrument features including LabView.My consulting contractor was Leopold Kostal GmbH & Co. KG.

Developing software and hardware, building and installing calibration, vision system and End of Line (EOL) machines to produce multimedia and comfort systems for passenger cars manufactured by Ford, Fiat, General Motors, Renault and PSA. Start-up of mentioned machines in assembly line at São Paulo and Manaus company’s sites.Production and quality assurance on Surface Mounted Device (SMD) assembly lines, applying preventing and corrective maintenance programs, production set ups, and maintenance of SMD component feeders. Elaboration and distribution of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) reports.
