 Provide clear instructions and guidance to the irrigationteam regarding irrigation program, fertigation operationsand maintenance program.  During any development phases, in consultation with theOperations Manager, assist and supervise the rollout,connection & installation of temporary windbreak lines,shifting of irrigation lines and adding of extra lines. Liaise& co-ordinate with any contractors.  During any planting phases, in consultation with theOperations Manager, assist and supervise the in-fieldplacement (& pegging) of irrigation lines to ensure newlyplanted trees are being watered correctly.  Assist the Operations Manager with scheduling ofirrigations by observing trees & soil moisture status.Report any problems promptly.  Participate and create a roster for the irrigation team inrostered checking of irrigation on week-ends & other ‘outof normal’ hours work.  Be responsible for site security & access, includingunlocking/locking of gates, sheds etc. when the Managersare not present or available.
