My experience modeling complex aeronautical problems started as a Product Development Engineer at EMBRAER. There, I got the ability to collaborate with different areas in a critical schedule, which allowed me to develop a capability for integration and teamwork. Thanks to this experience, I created a sense of applicability that enabled me to explore fundamental research problems aiming for real applications while working as an Assistant Professor. As a Research Scientist at the University of Michigan, I've developed tools to contribute to the next generation of efficient advanced vehicles solving complex flight physics problems to improve multidisciplinary design methodologies for aircraft design. As an Associate Professor of Practice, I have been teaching courses on aircraft design, collaborating on the Global Design Course, and researching ways to improve in-flight energy efficiency.
