CurrentWorking across five states ARTC manages and maintains an 8,500km rail network and is proud to be a vital part of the transport supply chain and the economic development of Australia.Achievements: managed to efficiently recover costs for all ongoing projects in Victoria ($5m +). Created a project register system to capture all incoming and ongoing projects to better manage them. Managed all third-party corridor access approvals in Victoria for 2 years. Participation in the Safe Work Improvement Program (SWIP).Responsibilities: • Ensuring any proposals, operational plans, designs or work packages, have been adequately assessed and reviewed by all ARTC stakeholders that are affected by any of the proposed changes.• Cost control and project cost recovery management. Ensuring that all project costs are captured and recovered, as well as providing cost estimates to the stakeholders involved.• Collecting and analysing data associated with current projects for all states for weekly and monthly reports to management.• Collaborating with project managers, engineering professionals, and third parties to ensure that any comments that have been made are addressed in the project development in a way that any finalised proposals, operational plans, designs or work packages, have been accepted by all ARTC stakeholders as operable and maintainable within ARTC's accreditation (standards).• Responding to inquiries about new third-party access applications, resolving problems concerning ongoing projects and stakeholders affected.• Coordinating all paperwork (document control) associated with third-party VIC major projects.• Raising matters requiring attention to senior management and implementing their decisions.• Ensuring that the delivery methodology and rail corridor access strategy for projects are developed in such a manner as to minimise the impacts to the ARTC operations and maintenance and that any remaining impacts are effectively planned and managed.
