I am an English into Brazilian Portuguese translator who holds a B.A. in Languages and is specialized in IT, Business Intelligence, and Education. I have worked for big IT companies, such as Oracle and Cisco.In the past six years, I was the full-time, in-house translator at Information Builders responsible for software and documentation translation from English into Portuguese at their headquarters in New York City. I am proficient in various CAT Tools, such as MemoQ, Trados, SDLX, Idiom Desktop Workbench, Wordfast, and XBench.I am a native speaker of Brazilian Portuguese, speak English fluently, and I have basic communication skills in both French and Spanish.In Translation, I have learned the importance of being detail-oriented and offering top quality services, as well as working under tight deadlines. Although I presently dedicate most of my time to translation, I am also a very experienced language teacher. During my long-term experience in Education, I have greatly improved my people and organizational skills.
