I have a PhD in International Relations from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. My research and thesis focused on the scope and implementation of children’s right to essential health services. I have more than 13 years of experience working with policy and advocacy to improve public health. Currently, I am the Head of Public Policy and Analysis at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, where I lead a team that produces public policy analyses and advocates for equitable access to vaccines. Before joining Gavi, I worked for Save the Children as a Senior Advocacy Adviser where I used to coordinate child health advocacy campaigns. In the beginning of my public health career, I managed the process that led to the adoption of the first General Comment on the child’s right to health by the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child.
