Mon rôle en tant qu'ambassadeur était de répondre aux questions des étudiants intéressés par les formations d'Aix-Marseille Université, et plus particulièrement les candidats à la licence MPCI, afin d'éclairer au mieux leurs choix de poursuites d'études.

These waves propagate through the stratosphere and transport energy, thus influencing the large-scale dynamics of the fluid: they are for instance responsible for quasi-biennial oscillations (QBO) of the mean flow within the stratosphere. Those effects are most important at the equator, but QBO has consequences even at European latitudes, and thus influences our weather.We observe similar phenomena on planets such as Jupiter and Saturn, which have the same kind of two-layered disposition, as well as most stars.The goal of this internship was to implement an experiment in order to study the formation of internal gravity waves in a stratified fluid under turbulent forcing, as well as their propagation and the conditions leading to the QBO phenomenon.
