Maître de conférences (Associate professor) in management science, I am passionate about trust at work. This research subject originates from my professional and intercultural experiences in Canada (I lived there for 8 years) and in France. I had the opportunity to act as an HR professional interacting with board members but also operational managers during almost 12 years. This experience made me realize the lack of trust in contemporary organizations, especialy in companies. I studied it for three years and defended a PhD thesis on Great Place to Work organizations, demonstrating how trust in management increases but differently depending on gender. Mostly, I discovered a significant impact of trust in management on profitability, adding 6 points of return on assets when a firm experiences above-normal levels of trust in management.
