Within the framework of the corporate strategy defined by the Executive Committee, my job took place within the strategic team of the General Procurement department including as main task to define and implement a worldwide sourcing strategy focused on offshore countries, on behalf of one of the leading companies jn the Aerospace & Defense industry.Main topics & techniques worked on during this outstanding experience were focused on offshore sourcing, offset topics & Change Management.Finally, I was appointed as the main Focal Point in Europe for the General Procurement representatives spread all over the World, which allowed me to build a strong professional network in several developed or emerging countries, but generally presenting a very high level of growth.

Without any doubt, one of the most impressive professional experiences I had the chance to live as team leader (around 25 people) and business manager.Within a 33 years-old structure, I obtained exceptional results:=> Ramp-up +60% at $300 000=> Several prizes awarded (Best Junior-Enterprise in France for the first time ever, Most entrepreneurial Junior-Enterprise in Europe, Best survey realized for an Entrepreneur...)=> Two international certifications graduated for the first time in the whole Junior-Enterprise History (ISO 9001 v2008 and ISO 14001 v2004 certified by AFNOR)=> Etc.

I was lucky-enough to join as CIO one of the most recognized and successful Junior-Enterprise in Europe.Over 12 months, I coded from scratch and on my own an in-house web back-office (based on HTML/PHP and SQL). The solution was handling the main end-to-end processes of the companies - apart from Accounting - including: Sales Ops, Contracting, Delivery & HR management, etc.The solution significantly improved daily operations and maximized our level of compliance by ensuring our employees were following our pre-defined processes.

In parallel of my studies, I kept starting new Businesses or supporting others in starting their Businesses.This was all during the major crisis in 2007-2008, and launching a “startup” was not yet very trendy in France nor in Europe, but I was passionate about new technologies & innovations and had plenty of ideas I wanted to test on the market.Among the various attempts I contributed to, one of them was a community website dedicated to online gaming (mainly around FPS like CS, Battlefield, CoD, etc.). Over a few years, we managed to gather a few thousands users from all around the World, most of them structured as teams and playing both for fun but also for competition. This was the early-stage of what we know today as “eSport”.As part of our business model, we were offering various rental services for the teams, such as dedicated virtual servers for playing or exchanging online via audio, dedicated private team areas within the website (incl. forums, etc.). At some point, we decided to create a virtual money with a marketplace where people from all around the world could exchange their local "real" money against ours. By doing this, we wanted to make our user base even more captive and reinforce the "community" feeling. Community members were then able to use their virtual coins across the website to buy goods and services. We were also organizing virtual competitions where prizes were based on our virtual money. In a way, we had launched one of the first cryptocurrency in History, years before Bitcoin and others currencies appeared!These experiences all failed and/or stopped at some point for various reasons but the value of experience and lessons-learnt I earned is immeasurable and useful for my entire career.
