After three years in the Transport and Logistics sector at GEFCO, I am embarking on a one-year trip abroad (Australia, Indonesia, Thailand) with my partner. Learning English and discovering Oceania, I return to France with memories etched in my mind.I joined Decathlon in October 2015 in Albi. Initially a salesman for six months, I had the opportunity to complete my two-year Master’s apprenticeship in two different departments focusing on the following sports: Team Sports, Racquet Sports, Golf, Nature, Running, Walking…I discovered Decathlon’s core mission: making sports accessible to as many people as possible. The tasks revolved around the following themes: merchandising, sales, and commercial dynamism. My final year was marked by the writing and implementation of a Football Project (Market Research).Then I moved to Montauban to take on a Department Manager position: managing a team of 10 people, economic management, recruitment, apprenticeship, and project support were my daily activities for two years.Still in Montauban, I discovered a new role: Operations Manager from March 2020 to June 2022, working on numerous store projects: efficiency, safety, renovation, and inventory.My enthusiasm for recruitment led me to take on a regional role where I have been a Specialist Trainer for new Managers for the past 5 years (training over than 150 people). Since apprenticeship was crucial to my academic success, I also took on a role as a Region Representative for the region’s apprentices to best support their projects.Since the summer of 2022, I have been working at the Fenouillet store, aspiring to work in another country (Store Leader / Country Leader) or be on an Human Resources Leader in the region and perhaps more in the future, who knows…
