As a waiter/server I have had the opportunity to fine tune my interpersonal skills, interact and create relationships with guests as well as learn more about the serving industry. Being in a fast-paced restaurant has allowed me to develop my time management and teamwork skills. Having over 400 covers per night has made me really use my time efficiently and effectively.

Hosting: Spent two years in the hosting role, where I further developed my interpersonal and communication skills. Helping guests with each and every need, ensuring they have a top tier experience. Built relationships with regular guests that I would converse with on a regular basis. I cherish the skills I’ve acquired whilst hosting as they have transferred into the serving role very well.

After a few years in the entry outside services position, my work and dedication were recognized as I was offered a managerial position at the club. I have spent the past 5-6 years managing a team of around 14 employees on average, this has helped me greatly improve my managerial and leadership skills. Our team has received praise for our efforts through the member surveys held every year, and we are still actively looking at ways to improve the member experience and fine tune every aspect of the outside services department to ensure a memorable experience for all.

This being my first experience into the workforce and now having been at Carnmoney for about 10 years, I believe shows the quality and approachability of the business. I've developed a bond and formed great relationships throughout the years with the members, staff and guests, most of which I now consider great friends or even family. Most of the guests and members at the course have seen me grow up since the age of 13 to now and have grown with me along the way. This position has taught me everything I know and value about customer experience and laid the foundation for whom I’ve become today. For that I am truly grateful and will always have Carnmoney in a special place in my heart.

Started off as a back shop attendant as my first ever role in the workforce. Began with duties such as maintaining the driving range, power carts as well as attending to member’s needs. These first few years laid the foundation of the person I’d become, and I learnt many valuable lessons at such a young age. I learned the importance of customer service and relationships as well as how important it is to retain customers (in this case members). Throughout the years the membership has seen me grow and I couldn't be more grateful for the people I’ve met and the relationships that have flourished over the years.

Harry Rosen: I spent several years at Harry's where I learnt the importance of client relationships as well as the details and specifics that go into providing an amazing consumer experience. Harry Rosen taught me immense product knowledge as well as helped me perfect my customer service skills as well as managing my customer relationships. After completing the rigorous 9-month training program (clothesman ship) I was granted the role of clothing advisor.

As I entered the Harry Rosen organization at the age of 16 years old, I began as a customer service representative. This role introduced me into another side of the retail industry where I learned more about the financial side as well as the reporting and data analytics side. This position also helped me learn about the inner workings of a successful retail company whilst simultaneously preparing me for the clothing advisor role.

Working for a short while at the GAP taught me a different perspective other than high end retail. I learned how to work in a high paced environment as well as control stressful and overwhelming situations. This is position is what made me fall in love with the retail industry and customer service. I also spent some time doing some modeling for the GAP in a few ad campaigns.
