After receiving the Basic Military Officer Qualification (BMOQ), I served with the 435 "Chinthe" Transport and Rescue Squadron as a search and rescue officer. I then graduated from the Canadian Forces School of Survival and Aeromedical Training (CFSSAT), and undertook the Air Combat Systems Officer training to further enhance my mission management skills. I was responsible for generating diverse editorial and commercial content, supervising a team of 10, managing a $250k operating budget, and securing funding. I represented the newspaper at various events and committees, built partnerships with the local business community, and managed communications and media relations.Over the years, our team has won multiple awards from l’Association de la Presse Francophone (APF), including the General Award of Excellence for Newspaper Design, the "Antidote" General Award of Excellence for the Quality of French, the Award of Excellence for the Best Arts and Culture Story, and the Award of Excellence for Photography of the Year.

My responsibilities included researching and writing journalistic content focused on various subjects concerning the territories and Western Canada, as well as presenting these topics on-air.

As General Manager, I led the creation and launch of a crêperie and catering business that blended high-end French cuisine with sustainable development practices. I developed the concept and business plan, and executed communication and marketing strategies. By establishing strong and sustainable partnerships with local producers, I've fostered food sovereignty and self-sufficiency in the Yukon, creating one of the first northern restaurants to use exclusively locally sourced ingredients. My responsibilities encompassed managing planning, logistics, human resources, finance, accounting, and overall operations, ensuring the business ran smoothly and successfully. I also organized regular cultural events and workshops to support local artists and engage the community. As a Newspaper Reporter, I was responsible for ensuring accurate and ethical reporting that aligned with editorial policy and reader expectations. My role was to provide a wide range of communication and media relations services to the Centre culturel franco-nigérien Jean Rouch in Niamey (CCFN). My duties included developing communication plans and strategies, designing and distributing communication materials, and coordinating media relations. I also represented the cultural centre at international events and provided recommendations to management.
