Helped prepare and post content to the Federal Reserve Board's public website, including content related to the Federal Open Market Committee Meeting. Managed the Board's social media channels and worked to launch and manage a new social media account to publicize Board research.

Managed web content for the Brookings Economic Studies program, including publishing web content on the Economic Studies section of the Brookings website, which received more than 7 million views from 5 million visitors in the past year; visualizing research and data using HTML, CSS and other programming languages to enhance reports' web presence; and running the Brookings Econ Twitter feed and managing five newsletters for the Economic Studies program at Brookings, including spearheading the creation of two newsletters, while at the same time brainstorming other methods for marketing new research.

Designed and laid out weekly magazine for The Washington Examiner, apolitics-focused publication in DC. Also created marketing and promotionalmaterials, online graphics, wrote headlines and photo cutlines and editedstories where appropriate.

Managed computer systems of small office as well as providing support for two other offices around the country. In charge of ordering new hardware and software as needed. Helped manage company website.

Managed a staff of more than 90 student workers. Balancing school work while also running a daily, student-run newspaper. Made decisions about the coverage given to stories as well as personnel decisions like hiring and payroll.Focused exclusively on updating the newspaper's design so that it had a more reader-friendly layout. This included more graphic elements and reader-submitted content in our print edition of the paper. I also put more of a focus on our publication's web presence, hiring a social media coordinator and building our Twitter following from around 8,000 followers to nearly 12,000 -- a number that exceeds other comparatively sized college newspapers in the country. During my time as editor, The Daily Reveille was awarded best all-around daily student newspaper and best affiliated website in the Society of Professional Journalism's Region 12 Mark of Excellence Awards. The paper went on to compete for the honor nationally with papers from the other eleven regions.

As part of class project, combed through thousands of previously classified FBI documents about the unsolved civil rights era murders of African-Americans in Louisiana and Mississippi. Traveled to Washington D.C. and met with FBI agents working on the cases. While there, visited the National Archives to look through documents. Wrote stories based off of findings.
