    The EARL de l'Evangilel is a polyculture farm in the South of the Ile de France, located at the confluence of Beauce, Hurepois and Gâtinais. Until the end of the 80's, we produced milk from a herd of Norman breed, as well as Romane (ex INRA 401), a breed of sheep to meat. The share of direct sales accounted for about 30%.Until 2015, the farm had specialized in field crops (cereals, beetroot, rapeseed), but since 2016 I have chosen to change the cropping system.Now rotations are based on 7 years: Beets - Wheat - Barley - Hemp - Wheat - Quinoa / Peas - Wheat. I want to gradually put in place the principles of soil conservation agriculture, which massively uses vegetable cover to promote the biological activity of soils.I also established the cultivation of quinoa on the farm, thanks to Jason Abbot, who selected varieties adapted to our climate.I also work on the development of végetable activity, with the objective of providing 30 varieties to Monpotager.com.
