At Exprodat (later acquired by Getech Group) I led the strategic consulting practice delivering geospatial strategy and capacity building for energy operators and regulators worldwide. I also worked across the Group more widely in roles including management consulting, business development, strategy, innovation, marketing, and project management in low carbon energies such as geothermal and hydrogen. (Note: part-time from 2020-2023, during which time I also established my own coaching business.)

In a role that today would be titled Chief Data Officer (CDO) I led Landmark's Data division with responsibility for all data underpinning Landmark's full product range serving 30,000+ customer accounts. Reporting to the Board, I transformed the 25-strong division into a high-performing, agile and collaborative team which managed hundreds of core datasets, 100+ data supplier relationships, multi-£million data contracts, R&D, and innovation. I also worked closely with our Group CEO on international M&A.

The Hague Area, Netherlands

At Shell I led global teams and helped transform the deployment of GIS and subsurface data management services across the Shell enterprise in 20+ countries. As Head of Data & Geomatics I led a team of 25+ GIS analysts and geologists, and served as programme manager for a $45m geo data and technology infrastructure programme involving 90+ staff and contractors. As Global Geospatial Coordinator I implemented the industry's first enterprise licence deal with Esri Inc and increased global GIS usage by over 100%, leading to improved workflows, cost savings and many value-added applications.
