I'm an executive coach providing leadership coaching and development training, career mentoring, and strategy consultancy, with 25 years of global experience across multiple sectors including Geospatial, Energy, Environment and Education.Fully certified and accredited at senior level with both ILM and EMCC, I work with authentic leaders and passionate professionals to achieve more clarity, balance and impact.In my past career I held senior leadership positions at Landmark Information Group and Shell International, where I transformed the Data division and the deployment of geospatial technology services, respectively. At Shell I also served as Learning & Development Leader for Geomatics, supporting a global skill pool of 350 staff.Following Shell and Landmark I moved into consulting at Exprodat and Getech Group, delivering geospatial technology strategies for energy companies worldwide, before qualifying as an executive coach to follow my passion for people development.For many years I also served as industry advisor and external examiner at Newcastle University, and chaired the annual European Energy GIS Conference through the transition from petroleum to renewables.Originally a land surveyor by training, I love the great outdoors and am a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society, with a PhD in satellite geodesy.

Reporting to the Board, I transformed the 25-strong division into a high-performing, agile and collaborative team which managed hundreds of core datasets, 100+ data supplier relationships, multi-£million data contracts, R&D, and innovation. As Head of Data & Geomatics I led a team of 25+ GIS analysts and geologists, and served as programme manager for a $45m geo data and technology infrastructure programme involving 90+ staff and contractors. As Global Geospatial Coordinator I implemented the industry's first enterprise licence deal with Esri Inc and increased global GIS usage by over 100%, leading to improved workflows, cost savings and many value-added applications.
