"The environment and sustainable solutions at the intersection of technology and politics" is what I usually answer when being asked what my passion is.After an exchange year in Canada, where I started to build up my international network, i started studying architecture. Although I learned a lot about developing stringent ideas, I finally found my passion in environmental engineering, where I improved my analytical thinking. Since I am highly interested in the role of politics in solving environmental problems, I became active in university policy making. I learned how to discuss constructively.I knew already during my Bachelor that water is my passion. Before diving into the complex nexus of water, agriculture and politics, I cultivated my interdisciplinary thinking during an internship in China, where I worked in the field of green infrastructure, urban planning and economical development. I finally made my way in to the realm of water during my Master. I focused on hydraulic engineering together with sustainability, and worked on projects in China at the TU Delft and with ETH in Africa.I describe myself as an open, interested and goal-oriented person, both in the work-life and during my free-time: I am currently working on an interactive tourist-guide for the city of Zug. Overall, I am highly interested in problems that require various solutions ranging from technology, politics and society to develop sustainable solutions.
