  I am working in the SOCOMEC research and development department for more than 30 years in different fields linked to power conversion. Now I am a System Expert. I transmit my huge experience in power electronics, electronics and embedded firmware to the new generation of developers. I am writing functional specifications, maintain them, validate the different architecture and design choices. I give, (I hope) good advices to my colleagues.Since 2018, I am working for the Storage activity and participated activelly on the Interflex Nice Smart Valley project https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6GsA7YRoY4. I was in direct contact with the customers for the installation, problem solving and exploitation. We equipped the island with many measurement devices sending data to the Socomec cloud for the data analysis. The converters can be controlled even from my office thanks to the 4G telecommunication networks.Before I worked on an exciting project: an HIL workbench in collaboration with NI and Opal-rt National Instruments and their partner Mesulog. After the development of the HES-L new medium power storage system from 50 to 600kW, I am again ivolvedin the development of an HIL system for storage system (HES-L and HES-XXL). Thesolver is based on Typhoon and Compact RIO for the slower signals. The automation will be done in Python more userfriendly for coders.
