Those that know me know that I’m a passionate person. Like the die-hard sports fan who gets excited about a victory or a political enthusiast that gets inspired by a strong speech, I love investing and I love people—getting to know them, learning their stories, and hearing about their personal and professional goals. I am fulfilled both by continuously learning about markets, the economy, and history, and by being successful at advising my clients to help them more efficiently manage their wealth.I believe that sound investment planning should be carefully designed and managed according to business cycles and not simply based on valuation or an aggregate of stock picks. My ongoing and careful research into economic indicators and their historical relationships combined with current world events, cultural trends and behavioral biases and their impact on investing—which my team and I present to you in our newsletters and blogs—informs my ethic of professionalism and collegiality.While I’m not the only (thankfully!) honest advisor and manager out there, there are those who rarely communicate with their clients or worse there are those who would push products in order to gain a fast buck.
