Worked within an agile team as a software developer to design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain the company's software products.Primary development revolved around a secure web mail application, with a custom Outlook Add-In providing mail access to the system from within Outlook. An open-source SMTP server was also customized to handle encryption and decryption of incoming and outgoing mail.A framework was developed to simplify developing add-ins for multiple versions of Outlook and to simplify the update process for the end user. The add-in manager was able to deliver updates to add-ins without requiring users to restart Outlook. This was extended to an idea similar to an "app store" which allowed users to browse and easily enable new add-ins from within Outlook, with the manager automatically handling the download, installation, and removal of add-ins for the user at the click of a button.
