Started as a student in web development and worked in that industry for around a year before deciding to change the field to game development.To get there he studied at the NHTV, Breda University of Applied Sciences, in the Netherlands. Where he attained his Bachelor of Science in 2018. His most notable work during his studies has been working on the video game "Dance with the Angels", where he started working on as one of the programmers, and soon became the Tech Lead. The last half year on the project Thijs was the Team Lead for the project with a team of 15-20 people. After the demo was done he and the game's director flew out to the Tokyo Game Show 2016 where they showcased the game and at their booth on the convention floor.Around the same time Thijs moved to Brazil to work on The Rotfather computer game, which is part of a Brazilian university cross-media research project. He finished his contributions to this in early 2017 after which he interned at Codeglue as a game programmer.For his graduation he interned at Media.Monks' games department as a Unity Developer and continues to work there to this day.
