The student assessor is part of the Faculty Board. I stay in contact with the study associations and students on behalf of the Faculty Board EEMCS. Furthermore, I maintain and promote inter- and intra university contact with the help of other student assessors.

After a year as a member and vice-chair of the Faculty Council (September 2017 - August 2018), I became chairman of the Council in the next academic year. It is my responsibility, together with the vice-chair and secretary, to provide the agenda for meetings and to communicate with the Faculty Board and other on behalf of the Council.

SNiC is an acronym for Stichting Nationaal informatica Congres (Foundation National Computer Science Congress). The organisation was established in 2004 with the purpose of stimulating the interest in IT knowledge, IT applications and the business side of IT. Every year, a congress with an IT related subject is organised for academic computer science students from all over the Netherlands. Every edition is hosted by a different study association. As a member of Inter-/Actief/, I joined the organising committee.

At ProRail I made an effort to assist in streamlining the process and visualisation in and around the digitisation of the ‘asset keten’.
