I had the privilege of working part-time at Knikkers Uitzendwerk, a student temp agency in Tilburg, during my studies. In this role, I actively engaged in facilitating communication with workers and clients, addressing inquiries, and overseeing scheduling. I dedicated 8-16 hours per week to this position. This experience allowed me to cultivate strong interpersonal and organizational skills while contributing to the seamless operation of the agency. Working in a small business/startup environment provided me with the opportunity to foster close connections with the managers. Therefore, I was able, at times, to actively participate in brainstorming sessions about the company's vision and direction, accumulating knowledge and insights invaluable to me to this day.

In the second half of my term as a board member, I assumed the role of chairman. In this capacity, I was responsible for the overall strategy of Integrand Tilburg, overseeing my eleven fellow board members, and maintaining communication with the national board and other presidents.Within this role, my responsibilities included:- Providing daily leadership to the board members in Tilburg.- Managing communication with the overarching Integrand body.- Developing and implementing business strategies and initiatives to support organizational goals.- Representing the organization to external stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, or investors.- Establishing and managing a high-performing team of professionals.During this board year, we had many opportunities to develop ourselves, including trainings from YSE, DKC, ImpressiveGreenApple, Randstad, university professors, and many more.

In my role as Operations Manager, I assumed accountability for overseeing the comprehensive efficiency of our twelve-person team and optimizing their output. Collaborating seamlessly with various departments, I contributed to the optimization of internal processes and ensured smooth cooperation between teams. A primary focus of my responsibilities involved transforming raw data into insightful and easily accessible information through the creation of reports and the development of dashboards within the Salesforce platform. My commitment to enhancing operational efficiency extended to the optimization of systems and day-to-day processes, ensuring the utmost effectiveness in our operations. Striving for continuous improvement and aligning efforts with overarching business objectives, I took pride in streamlining workflows and facilitating the simplification of tasks for team members.

For two consecutive years, I served as a representative for the students of International Business Administration, providing insights and engaging in discussions with the academic directors and educational coordinators of Tilburg University to identify areas for improvement. These meetings, typically held every quarter, covered a range of topics, including individual courses and broader issues like internationalization and university communication.Our insights directly and indirectly influenced aspects such as teaching styles of professors, course layouts, exams, and at times, even led to changes in the curriculum

However, foreseeing an increasing number of inexperienced investors entering the market due to the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) effect, I recognized the elevated risk of a market drop. The crypto market was transitioning from its BULL phase to a BEAR phase. Armed with this knowledge, I successfully sold over 95% of my portfolio before the market decline, resulting in profits that surpassed the current portfolio with ease. All the coins I invested in had their own ideas about changing the world for the better, and I sincerely believed in those ideas. For this reason, any loss in value hurt less, knowing I had invested in a greater good.
