Joined Circles.Life to establish the Sri Lanka Engineering PDC, aiming to revolutionize the global telco industry with innovative, cloud-agnostic, SaaS-based technology. After the success of the Sri Lanka PDC, I was entrusted to set up the India Engineering PDC.𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮 𝗣𝗗𝗖 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁- Built the Sri Lanka engineering center from scratch during the COVID-19 pandemic, initially operating virtually.- Scaled the PDC to 100+ engineers in one year.- Created strong teams in Product Engineering (backend, frontend, full-stack), Mobile Development (iOS/Android), SDET, Data Engineering, and SysOps/DevOps.- Led all engineering, hiring, and operational aspects, including setting up the legal entity.- Mentoring and guiding individuals and teams to reach their full potential while collaborating with other department heads- Supported the successful launch of the Circles platform in Japan (POVO/KDDI) during COVID-19.𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗗𝗖 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁- Entrusted to build the India PDC after the success of the Sri Lanka PDC.- Led multi-location/vendor evaluation and selected Bangalore as the PDC site.- Used the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) model to grow the team to 50 engineers and transferred them to Circles.Life.𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀-𝗫 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽- Since 2023, led the Circles-X SaaS platform development with teams across Singapore, Sri Lanka, and India.- Enabled the first successful launch of the Circles-X platform in Pakistan (Onic/E&).- Successfully supported and implemented DevX (Developer Experience) for full CI/CD automation.

Open World was a UK based company which was providing both online and offline software application for the Hospitality Industry. Joined Open World to build, lead, and guide the e-commerce engineering teams and also to take the existing technology platforms to the next level by leveraging best in class open systems. I was awarded a full scholarship (5 years) to pursue the B.Sc. (Hons) in Information Systems. Academic studies were conducted part-time (weekends) while working full time at the company.Worked in many projects during this period and successfully provided the contribution during the entire project life cycle to deliver the projects on time, with quality, and within budgets while getting support, mentoring, and guidance from senior staff.
