Moved into doing Sales for the eProcurement solution of AVM; Green Tape, temporarily. This involves, marketing the solution to c-level of corporates, doing the sales pitch, pre-sales and delivery. The opportunity enabled me to utilize my marketing and networking skills, an opportunity to explore new territories. So far, I am enjoying the journey…

Being in the operations I got the opportunity to work in multiple projects. My experience and exposure has been in overall management of projects, development of business requirements and streamlining operations processes for Green Tape. After this exposure obtained across the platform, I was promoted as Manager Pre-Sales and Delivery.

Stepped away from IT to pursue my childhood dream of owning my own business. Built up my own brand Kacy Clover and initiated end to end production and delivery of corporate t-shirts and caps. Undertook manufacturing projects of established corporates such as John Keells, HSBC, Galleface Hotel, Grasshoppers, Allianz, Noon, Dialog, Rotaract, Virtusa and many more. Carried out activities such as: marketing, operations, delivery being the sole proprietor. This enabled me to strive and be independent and also get an overall experience of running a business and its legal aspects. Furthermore, it enabled me to work with people from different levels, professionals from corporates, marketing teams, supplier companies, production employees and delivery companies expanding my network. During the COVID period, the operations expanded to online and I started selling of ladies and gents casual wear making great profit. With the energy and positivity of being a young and budding entrepreneurs, I founded Entrepreneurs Lanka Guarantee Limited helping and uplifting like minded entrepreneurs. Conducted many training and knowledge sharing projects and programs on a monthly basis with the board of directors, membership and guest speakers who were some of the well established Entrepreneurs in Sri Lanka such as W. K. H. Wegapitiya, Kushan Kodithuwakku, Kishu Gomes etc. and other industry specialists such as Anushka Wijesinghe, Senaka Kekirawaragoda. During the COVID time period, together with the board of directors we conducted many trainings and workshops to entrepreneurs online. Finally, now I am in the process of handing over the organization to fellow directors as I am moving back to my IT career.Due to the crisis situation and stagnation of the business. I'm putting my business on hold and joining the corporates to continue with my IT career path.
