Jeff created a diversified practice that includes a core design studio as well as providing technical support for other architectural professionals. This support is in the form of oversight and quality assurance for all aspects of architectural practice including the design, detailing and administration of the construction. As a certified construction specifier Jeff wrote specifications, the central documents that ensure design quality and manage risk.

A technical director with particular strengths in working with teams in the development of contract documents. Responsible for the quality assurance of the design's execution. Reviewed projects for code compliance, material selection, constructability and coordination with specifications from the design phase through construction administration. Earned reputation as an office resource whose highest value is that questions and doubts deserve the highest priority. Director of the Northeast Regional Technical Library, wrote TechNotes and gave presentations for the staff on various subjects. Was called upon to work closely with other Gensler offices on specific problems.Project experience includes St. John's University Academic and University Center, Crown Heights Charter High School, United Nations Curtain Wall Review, 295 Madison Lobby and Store Fronts, 1095 Avenue of the Americas Plaza Project, PNC Banks, Webster Banks

Jeff brought his experience and technical skills to SOM where he studied under the mentorship of the head of the materials research department Herbert Lynn. It was here that he learned to engage spec writing and technical leadership as interdependent processes.Project experience includes Toronto Pearson International Airport, 300 Madison Avenue Office Building, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Laboratory, 270 Greenwich Street Residential Tower, USAF Chapel Exterior Wall Restoration, Roden Crater (with artist James Turrell).

Involved in all aspects of the small practice.
