As an Intern Network Solutions, I contributed to the successful deployment of network infrastructure for the Colombo West International Terminal (CWIT) project. My role involved hands-on experience with critical aspects of network installation and setup:• Mounted network devices with precision, ensuring proper placement and alignment in designated network racks.• Installing appropriate transceiver modules for network devices to support seamless connectivity.• Conducted structured cabling, configuration, and troubleshooting to establish a robust and efficient network infrastructure.• Collaborated with senior engineers to resolve technical challenges, gaining valuable insights into industry best practices.In addition to my work on CWIT, I provided network support for a diverse client base, including MAS Holdings, Ceylon Biscuits Limited (CBL), Atlas, various banks, and other organisations. My role involved:• Troubleshooting network-related issues, diagnosing and resolving connectivity, configuration, and performance challenges.• Implementing network solutions tailored to client-specific needs, enhancing system performance and reliability.• Collaborating closely with customers and senior engineers to ensure efficient issue resolution and client satisfaction.This role strengthened my technical skills in network deployment and provided me with a solid foundation in real-world networking solutions.

As an Editor and executive committee member, I led the student community's media initiatives, shaping our events' visual and online presence. My role involved end-to-end media production, from designing eye-catching posters to creating engaging after-movies that captured event highlights. I managed social media channels, strategically uploading content to maximize reach and engagement, and ensured our digital assets resonated with our audience. Additionally, I worked collaboratively with fellow committee members on event planning and preparation, contributing to successful, well-organized experiences for our community.
