An example of this is when Thiru described the core labelling requirements for a dairy food product (Activia Probiotic Yogurt) for an assignment which he including the following: common name, date markings (best before date), bilingual label in both English and French, net quantity in grams, voluntary claim statement (probiotic claims, and 100% Canadian milk), and nutritional values (serving size, amount of calories in serving size, nutrients, and % daily value). Thiru also knows the process for regulatory submissions, recall requirements, and how to write and understand standard operating procedures. Thiru is very passionate and dedicated with growing his career, knowledge, and learning as much as he can in the regulatory field especially in the food, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, medical device, and natural health product fields.
