I am a results-driven professional with extensive experience in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. Currently serving as Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences and Assistant Registrar (Administration) at Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER), I am committed to advancing knowledge and making meaningful contributions in my field.My research journey has been characterized by remarkable achievements, including securing three Research Grants from prestigious organizations such as ICMR Extramural, SCRI-AYUSH Intramural, and MAHER Seed Money. I am proud of my 100 publications, with 56 articles in Q1 Journals and 34 in Q2 Journals, which have received significant recognition. My scholarly impact is evident through my Scopus Indexed articles, Chapters, and Books Edited.As an academician, I take pride in guiding and mentoring Ph.D. scholars, contributing to the progress of Computational Biology. Additionally, I have received a patent for my work on "Artificial Intelligence Based System for Face Detection and Identification of Masked Faces During COVID Pandemics."In addition to my academic pursuits, I am actively involved in administrative responsibilities, including NAAC documentation, UGC inspection handling, ISO 210001:2018 inspection, and more. As an ERP Coordinator, I have developed an online portal for IQAC, streamlining faculty data collection.I am committed to the dissemination of knowledge and have been invited to speak at numerous workshops and webinars on topics such as "Computer-Aided Drug Designing (CADD)" and "Molecular Docking and Drug Designing."My technical expertise encompasses NGS Analysis, Molecular Dynamics Simulation, Molecular Docking, Protein Modelling, and Phylogenetic Analysis. I am proficient in utilizing various biological databases and web tools to extract valuable insights from data.My academic journey culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology from the Vellore Institute of Technology.
