FIEK, Center for University-Industry Cooperation's one of the main responsibilities is to conduct BME's research management. I worked in the Horizon Europe research grant team as a Research Manager intern under the supervision of Dr. Schenk Borbala, where my main contributions were: -helping BME researchers to find relevant potential international and Horizon Europe Projects- development of the proposal from the preliminary stage to final submission-maintaining constant communication with researchers regarding proposal development, research event etc. -finding potential research partners to fit with the research team and proposal's requirements-aligning researchers’ expertise with potential projects, specifically in the field of digital technologies, innovative and emerging digital solutions for healthcare, sustainable and renewable energy supply - development and management of research database in the BME Competence Map( https://competence.bme.hu/)-monitoring EU websites, EU policy trends, press releases, key internet portals and events, then compile briefings- keeping track of European research topics, research call, events etc. particularly topics of digital transformation, health, society, climate and energy-Organizing events, such as, BME Competence Fair, which gave researchers opportunity to showcase their expertise increasing their international visibility

Teach for Bangladesh (TFB) tries to improve the education quality in underprivileged schools by providing fellows who are highly qualified graduates, who teaches in that school for two years, providing service for the greater good of the society, at the same time building great leadership qualities. I was part of their Campus ambassador program, where my key contributions were: - finding skilled, talented and motivated graduates at University of Dhaka and letting them know how this two year fellowship can be valuable for them- representing TFB at social media and various events, such as student organization activities, career fairs- organizing some workshops to promote the organization-contacting primarily selected participants to let them know about the selection process and motivating them to join TFB, being a part of a societal change

It started by volunteering at an event of the Society of Deaf and Sign Language Users, where they were giving free hearing aid to people with hearing impairment. Before the event, we designed a questionnaire with the help of a professor to collect information from the hearing-impaired people about their history, education, fulfillment of medical needs etc. Later we got the opportunity to present our findings at a conference. My contributions in these whole journey were: - designing the questionnaire in such a way that we can collect essential information which can be later used for policy recommendation and building an inclusive society -interviewing people with a view to finding what problems they faced throughout their life as a special need person -exporting and organizing data from the questionnaire to excel in order to find qualitative and quantitative results-creating presentation to present our key findings at a conference -creating visualizations of the most important data -recommendation of policy improvement and social inclusion methods as some policy makers were present at the conference

We created this Facebook page, Humans of NDC (https://www.facebook.com/HoNDC/ ), in order to find interesting and inspiring life stories of people related to Notre Dame College , Dhaka. We were a great self-built team of young writers, interviewers, and photographers. My contributions were as following: - finding people with exciting stories to share (sometimes ordinary stories can be of significant impact)- contacting people and making them agree to give the interview- creating questions in such a way so that we could find every interesting detail about the person- sometimes I translated the stories from Bengali to English
