As the principal producer on the $25 million animated behemoth that was the first of a three part trilogy based on the Monkey King Journey to the West saga, Ashwin was responsible of planning and managing its entire budget, hiring the heads and leads of each department along the production, creative and technology pipeline above and below the line and as one of the first three people including the CEO and COO of the production company, responsible for helping setup the key infrastructure required to support the massive production. During his stint, Ashwin brought the film from script to the production in a span of 8 months.
