To pursue my degrees in engineering and architecture while training and competing in two Olympics...the path I took was anything but typical. And so I have been lucky to gather learning and skills from a wide range of people and (sometimes, unexpected) places. The connecting thread? How our everyday environments can contribute to performance. My research sits at the intersection of healthy and green buildings. I have active research interests in causal statistical thinking, and the development of more sustainable future urban systems.
