Currently PMing an internal application that helps Pivotal Finance team obtain data to gain better insights of our customers. Works in agile and XP fashion.

As cofounder of SPEC, I had the opportunity to learn whatever it takes fast and under pressure to solve wide range of problems in order to bring the idea to product. Within a team of three I worked mainly on product strategies and design. I've also developed the business model and financial projection while being involved in marketing and business development. Responsibilities:- Led full design and development from concept to product.- Defined feature requirements through surveys, user interviews, personas, task flow analysis, and other data collection.- Iterated UX/UI multiple times based on data collected from user feedback, usability test sessions, GA and Clicktale.- Created feature roadmaps, wireframe, prototypes, style guide, and other documentations for both design and engineering. - Developed mobile-web interface using SCSS and HTML (Jade in Node.js with Express). - Implemented Javascript/jQuery library as needed for interface animations and interactions.- Restructured SCSS code base and file system twice to improve site performance and code maintainability.Technical Experience:- Illustrator and Sketch prototyping, Axure wireframing, and rapid coded prototyping.- SCSS, SVG animation (CSS3 & GreenSock Library), Javascript, jQuery Library- Scrum and Kanban agile development methodologies- Familiar with Sublime Text and Node.js development environment (Mac)- Familiar with Git version control (Bitbucket and Github)

I moved to Singapore from San Francisco to join the newly formed APJ Revenue Assurance Team as my manager's first hire. Through 2 years we have built out the team and have gotten each EMC Asia Pacific country leaderships up to date in revenue recognition concepts and compliance processes. Responsibilities:- Provided presentation and classroom training to country finance staff on revenue recognition topics.- Involved in full Order to Cash cycle from initial contract negotiation, deal structure to complete booking review to make sure revenue is recognized according to GAAP and company policies. - Contract and deal structure review - work closely with local legal team to address potential issues and legal language impacts on revenue recognition, provided recommendations based on situation. - Order review - work with country sale operation managers to ensure we have met criteria of revenue recognition for orders booked. - Analyzed each country's OTC process, work with Internal Audit to identify potential control issue and recommend solutions for improvement.Experience:- Automated monthly booking reporting using self-taught VBA and Excel Macro scripts. Significantly cut down time required for daily report generating during high pressure and time crunching quarter-end analysis. - Familiar with different work culture and habits in multiple Asian countries.

- Assisted in preparation of Due diligence before merger including analyzing deferred revenue, sorting and managing company asset sheet, clearing AR/AP accounts. - Worked with corporate finance team on ad-hoc requests on financial reporting after acquisition has taken place. - Developed processes to integrate Greenplum accounting and financial reporting into EMC ERP. - Completed divisional month-end closing with strict deadline.
