Senior Product Manager - VrfLennox International Jul 2015 - Jun 2016Dallas, TexasAs the Sr. VRF Product Manager within Lennox International, my key responsibility is managing the VRF product portfolio, including VRF equipment, VRF accessories, and VRF controls. As a part of this role, I am the owner of the product development strategy and roadmap, and ultimately executing that plan via product launches and sunsets. I use my knowledge of the market, along with input from many internal teams, to build consensus on the best strategic path forward on the product line. I am responsible for the project schedules and for making executive-level presentations at monthly marketing and engineering decision point meetings. On the marketing side, I work with our commercial marketing manager to develop excellent collateral, such as videos, brochures, catalogs, websites, and other exciting special projects. My team is responsible for assisting with trade shows as needed, and our involvement varies depending on the size of the show. For larger shows, such as the AHR Expo, my team is a key participant in booth creative, product marketing, and execution. For smaller shows, my team will assist in procuring any equipment for display. My team is also a key participant in the Lennox Sales meeting, our biggest internal event of the year. In 2016, VRF supported 4 programs resulting in a total of 9 individual presentations. My team will also provide and review any special content to be used only for the sales meeting. My team supports the sales organization in the form of creating, developing, or reviewing sales tools. This includes technical literature, guide specifications, product application guides, mobile apps, training courses, Revit and AutoCAD tools, energy modeling libraries, and supplying competitor or market intelligence. If information is missing from our documents, I am responsible for finding and publishing that information, or supporting the creation of that data - for example, championing new ways to test equipment. -

Mechanical Engineer - Application SupportMitsubishi Electric Cooling & Heating Mar 2011 - Apr 2013Suwanee, GaMy job was to provide the very best engineering expertise on Mitsubishi Electric's commercial product line. Internally, this meant being a consultant to other groups (Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Customer Service, Training, and more) and maintaining all engineering-related tools and literature. Externally, I supported distributors, engineers, contractors, architects, and other customers by providing solutions to application questions, facilitating training courses, and generally getting them the answers they needed in a timely fashion. Utilizing input from our sales managers, I developed and updated tools such as application notes, design software, and self-driven training modules that drive the application of commercial product on projects. I also maintained our Revit and AutoCAD libraries, and ensured our products were able to be applied in energy modeling tools such as EnergyPro, eQuest, Trace, and EnergyPlus. Also, I supported the successful education of both employees and customers through development of training programs, and subsequently functioning as a trainer for those programs. I covered our entire geographical business: 5 business units covering the United Stated and 1 additional business unit covering international territories. Because of this I traveled about 50% of my time, for training classes, meetings, and conferences. I enjoyed getting to meet my colleagues and customers face-to-face and have the opportunity to develop relationships with them. -
