*Responsible for working in a 24x7 Security Operation Center (SOC) environment*Perform cyber security threat engineering activities with specific focus on countermeasure Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)*Participate in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues*Provide responses and explanations to customers who request assist ance through our ticketing system*Develops new detective and investigative capabilities using current technical solutions*Identify opportunities for efficiencies in work process and innovative approaches to completing scope of work*Perform hunting for malicious activity across the network and digital assets*Perform payload analysis of packets*Knowledge of IP networking and network security including Intrusion Detection*Work closely with the technology risk teams to assess risk and provide recommendations for improving our security posture**Remain informed and improve awareness of Information Security news and developments*Analyse incoming security incidents, performs deep packet inspection, and provides first responder actions to Security Engineering teams*Develop and maintain documentation, processes, procedures, and reports to improve the quality, consistency, effectiveness, and efficiency of SOC operations*Familiarity with threat modeling, development of attack plans, performing manual & automated Ethical Hacking, & develop proof of concept exploits
