As a QA engineer, my main responsibility is to build unit tests to ensure any new releases do not introduce new bugs into the application. Our testing suites are built using JavaScript’s Node.js framework, specifically using the Mocha/chai and Protractor testing frameworks. Some other technologies I worked with are Jenkins, Slack, Logz.io, Rally, Jira, and GitHub.

As an Application Support Specialist, I'm responsible for supporting complex issues, troubleshoot problems within various internal and external customers, and configure and maintain software platforms within production environments. In my position, I also engaged in the massaging of data through various scripting techniques, insert data into MS SQL database via TSQL, move data from customers to 3rd party vendors, process improvement, customer service and more. As a member of the team, I worked to enhance the value of the Q2 solution by repairing, maintaining, and improving the efficiency of custom software component installations and configurations within a 24/7 production environment.

My position as an Escalation Engineer is to troubleshoot a Java based web application. The application ran on Apache Tomcat. My responsibility was to reproduce any reported issues in the application and discover why the issue happened and facilitate a resolution with multiple teams. I had lots of experience running instances of the application locally on my machine for debugging purposes. We also used Sumo logs to track down logs to assist in the logging of the Java code as well as all the network traffic. Another part of the application dealt with Cloud technology. I worked with Node.js, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.

My responsibility is to troubleshoot the integration between the third party POS vendors and our HotSchedules Connect Software. Some of my other duties are to troubleshoot some of the other software pieces that are part of HotSchedules, such as MacromatiX, GoHire, Reveal, HotSchedules, SchooX and Recruit. Another part of my role is to provide excellent customer service from the employee all the way up to IT Directors for large companies.

Respond to a high volume of telephone inquiries about the company's products or services by following standard scripts and procedures. Assist customers with Trier I HAMP level issues, and other workout options available to the borrowers such as repayment plans, modifications, short sales, and deed in lieu’s, to help borrowers that have fallen into a hardship save their homes, or at least avoid a foreclosure. Assigned to a very special pool of loans that are owned by the main investors for personal servicing, as well as being assigned to special projects that only the highest quality agents were picked to do so. Some of my accomplishments while I was there are, getting promoted once for exceeding metrics, and was able to maintain those metrics in the top quarter while I was there. After they laid off 90% of their staff, I was one of the few that was asked to stay on. I went beyond my duties and was helping my direct supervisor with her workload.
