Thai Orchidee Restaurants group consist of three Thai restaurants in Rheinland-Pfalz province.Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Ramstein-branch. Other tasks include:- Purchasing (inventory management, supplier comparisons for reliable and good quality produce, negotiating prices and terms )- Managing Staff (training basic HACCP standards, promoting upselling, encouragement) - Marketing and Sales (advertising, social media) This was realized by increasing customer loyalty, increase in active upselling by staff and cost management.

Rocam International is a trading company specialized in food products from Taiwan and China. The company is located in Rotterdam from where the goods are exported to different customers throughout Europe.My role in this organization was to assist in the logistical operations of the company. Export control and order handling were my responsibility as well as accurate stock and warehouse management which were part of a daily routine.

The Netherlands was represented at the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai, China. In a 6 month period the Holland Pavilion attracted more than 8 million visitors. The food and beverage department needed to be replenished every day as well as the souvenir shop. This was done by the logistics department.My tasks as a Logistics and Purchasing Assistant was to make sure the stock pile (food and non food) was on par, arranging mandatory forms for logistical operations. And furthermore, I was responsible for contacting suppliers and coordinating distribution.At the venue I managed a team of in total 21 Chinese and 9 Dutch interns.
