I was advising clients on growth & operational strategies, investment opportunities, global operating models, go-to market plans, service delivery plans, project due-diligence and risk mitigation plans primarily in the Natural Gas/LNG sector. In addition, I was also providing Expert advice to several global consulting firms, investment firms and research organizations on issues pertaining to Natural Gas/LNG sector in India.

I started my career at GAIL’s LNG team in its primitive stages in 2009 and was instrumental in negotiating and concluding $100+ Billion worth long-term agreements on LNG Sales & Purchase, Liquefaction Tolling and Regasification Capacity Booking. Apart from handling commercial activities and operations of the LNG Team, I have been a part of multiple committees involving GAIL’s overall business Strategy; Process Improvements; Setting up of International LNG Trading Desk; LNG Shipping Entry Strategy; Standardization of downstream gas sales contracts; Downstream gas sales on spot basis through e-platform; Development of Hedging Policy; Development of Social Media Strategy; Organizing prestigious Asia Gas Partnership Summits (AGPS); Development of Asian LNG Buyer’s Cooperation Forum etc.I have also made contribution in developing market based pricing for domestic produced natural gas in India under the Rangarajan Committee and developing the Knowledge Papers in two editions of AGPS with McKinsey & Company. I have also represented India/GAIL as member of the Commercial Study Group at GIIGNL (International Group of LNG Importers).
