I provide outpatient mental health therapy, substance abuse treatment, and intensive outpatient therapy for individual as well as groups of adults struggling with a wide variety of psychopathological conditions including: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, dissociative disorders, psychotic disorders, obsessions and compulsions, and addiction related disorders.

I provided mental health services to individuals on a crisis/acute treatment unit. I engaged in on-going assessment, crisis intervention, individual, family, and group therapy as well as case management. I developed and monitored service plans, monitored treatment progress, documented interactions and maintained electronic clinical records and other reporting data for individuals with mild to severe mental illness. Further, I coordinated with internal as well as external supportive services to deliver needed services to customers. Finally, I also collaborated with my clinical supervisor and psychiatrist regarding treatment.

I provided milleu therapy for the clients who live at Balam House an inpatient facility for individuals who have been suffering from various forms of psychosis. This milleu work involved a variety of acrivities including talking with clients, cooking dinner, distributing medications, and writing progress notes.

I was an intern counselor at Mapleton Counseling Center, Boulder Community Hospital. In this capacity I co-facilitated therapy groups. My work was focused on two Intensive Outpatient groups: "Turning Point", a process oriented group for clients who are struggling with mood disorders, and an IOP DBT groyp.

I provided therapeutic recreational instruction for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

I coordinated almost all aspects of an oral history program at the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor (NPHHH) in New Windsor, NY. The NPHHH is a museum dedicated to preserving and exhibiting the stories of Purple Heart recipients. We collect these stories using different methods. The oral history program is one of the most significant methods. Purple Heart recipients come to the NPHHH where we conduct video interviews in a studio. My work entailed - conducting/recording the interviews, overseeing and coaching other interviewers and videographers, conducting outreach and corresponding with interviewees, creating programming related to the oral history program, curating the interview collection, and editing, scripting, and designing films based on the interviews.

I provided online social studies tutoring to students in grades 5 through 12.
