As someone who is extremely inquisitive by nature, in particular with all things finance, I have always been fascinated with quantitative models and their applications in the financial world. When it came time to decide on my major, I was naturally drawn to the specialisation of Actuarial Science. Despite being perceived as a “difficult” major, my academic and internship experiences so far have reaffirmed my decision as I have thoroughly enjoyed the number crunching and statistical analysis. Apart from my academic endeavours, I am also an avid reader in my free time, focusing on topics such as history, economics and finance. The knowledge and perspectives that I have gained from these books have helped to deepen my understanding and shape my own personal outlook. At the moment, I am actively looking for internship roles in the field of finance and/or actuarial science. I am genuinely interested to learn about these industries and I am a strong believer of sharing personal experiences, so if you're keen I'd love to chat!
