CORGI provided the gas registration scheme for the UK, as such the systems needed to keep the scheme operational were vast, from Siebel through to MOSS and a bank of over 40 servers and 200 field workers to support a dedicated and professional team were needed to deliver this solution.My role was to provide over all management of the development team and also to provide management to the whole IT department, one of the best and knowledgable IT departments I have ever had the pleasure of working with!Key Achievements:• Rapidly improved relations between IT, the company’s business units and stakeholders• Project managed a successful £2m Siebel rollout to time and budget, including 3rd party vendor management• Project Managed the CORGI Sharepoint website to improve administration of the 300k annual CORGI gas scheme renewals• Achieved total buy in from key stakeholders including the entire board for a strategic programme of IT work• Totally transformed the IT department into a dynamic and highly motivated unit • Introduced a unique and more effective way to manage stakeholders, staff, IT budgets and service delivery

My role here involved the following activities:• Overseeing the establishment and on-going administration of a Novell and Mac network;• Created a bespoke QuarkXpress / Xdata solution to automatically create print ready plates for the print factory• Liaising with worldwide partners in Hong Kong, USA, China and India to produce swing tickets;• Overseeing Systems Analysis of bespoke Fox Pro MIS system to ensure customer needs were met;• Assuming total buying power for all I.T. resources within the UK;• Following success in the above was requested to set up an entire PC network, including an Apple Macintosh network – encompassing all day-to-day maintenance activity and the planning of future I.T. requirements• Setup a successful print factory in Suffolk with full studio capabilities
