I am Thobeka Fortune Mncube I completed and possess a Bachelors degree of Geography and Environmental Management completed in 2013 obtained at the University of KwaZulu Natal. Over the past years of my academic life, I have acquired a great deal of skills in planning, organising and control of my work and have also learnt to adjust to different working environments.Having worked in the numerous numbers of Environmental projects during my undergraduate course work, hence I am well equipped to adequately accomplish any task given at this field of expertise. Possess Knowledge of National Environmental Management Act (NEMA Act 107, 1998) as well as knowledge of National Water Act 36,1998) Environmental Impact Assessments, Basic Assessment, Environmental Conservation (Act 73, 1989) National Waste Management Strategy Act, Conservation of Agricultural Resources Act (Act No. 43 of 1983) Basic knowledge of the Climate change adaptation field which could incalculably supply an insight to Environmental Awareness strategies and I have had extensive experience in both basic and applied research. However In the past practical work experience I have acquired great beneficiary skills such as good report writing and communication skills, promoting orderly and sustainable economic development within the governmental area jurisdiction, managing environmental land use and registry, managing geographic information Systems (GIS), process. Furthermore I am currently serving as an Environmental Officer at Zululand district Provincial Environmental Affairs offices, however it is all driven by the love and passion of this field. I have made it a principle to make and implement decisions in accordance with the municipal and governmental legislation policies and procedures and how to apply interpersonal skills, common sense and being pro-active in a working environment in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the organization.
