I do possess great skills in promoting inclusive participatory approaches, developing funding-raising strategies, programme design and development, donor and stakeholder engagement, donor compliance, knowledge monitoring and evaluation. I have worked as a consultant and programme officer on projects focusing on a wide range of sectors including community-based planning (CBP), Local Governance, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR); Community-Based Natural Resource Management Planning (CBNRM), Food Security; Social Accountability, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH); Human Rights Monitoring and Protection; Public Health for USAID, EU, SIDA and UN agencies funded initiatives. This has involved the active mainstreaming of child protection, disability, ageing and gender issues in this programming. These experiences have been aquired working for various NGOs such as Africa Development Foundation Trust, Centre for Community Development Solutions and currently the Civic Forum on Human Development as the Fundraising, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer.
