Tom is an expert in digital product delivery, with over 14 years experience managing project management, creative and technical/development teams across a wide range of disciplines, in both internal and external studios and agencies. Tom joined AKQA in 2012 and managed the Vodafone Firsts continuous-delivery programme of work consisting of Film, Social and Web, with responsibility for coordinating a network of WPP media, events and PR agencies in support of the campaign. The work picked up a Silver Lion at Cannes in 2014. Prior to this he lead a lean and innovative agile team creating a pioneering motor show experience for Nissan using Oculus Rift, winning numerous awards and being instrumental in AKQA being named Digiday's Most Innovative Agency 2014.With experience at many of the UK’s leading agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Dare, RKCR/Y&R and JWT, Tom has produced a wide portfolio of full life-cycle interactive products and services including websites, micro sites, e-commerce, pay-per-click campaigns, website audits, banner campaigns, mobile apps, social media campaigns and experiential events for clients such as Shell, Microsoft, Bayer Healthcare, Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Nestle Rowntree, HSBC, Rimmel, Metropolitan Police, Barclays, Kopparberg, Virgin Atlantic, Dell, M&S Money, Bacardi, first direct, Martini, Lloyds TSB, T-Mobile, Orange and EE.Up until 2006 Tom worked in the videogame industry at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and produced the first European networked game on the PlayStation2 console and lead the Physical Gaming Group within the EyeToy Team, delivering two PlayStation2 exergaming products – EyeToy: Kinetic (developed in conjunction with Nike) and EyeToy: Kinetic Combat.
