Thom Cox is a native and lifelong resident of St. Petersburg, Florida. Mr. Cox completed his high school and college education on an accelerated program, wherein he graduated magna cum laude at the age of 18 with a B.A. in government and history from Morehead State University. He continued his education at Stetson University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree in 1983.Mr. Cox is a seasoned and experienced attorney and is admitted to the Florida Bar, U.S. Federal District Court and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a former certified circuit/civil mediator and arbitrator, and former Special Tax Master for the Pinellas County Tax Collector. He is a frequent lecturer and author on asset protection and preservation issues, including offshore asset protection and diversification, foreclosure defense, mortgage modification and short sales, bankruptcy and wills, trusts and estate planning.
