With over a decade of diverse experience in the design and manufacturing industry, my career path has been underpinned by my relentless pursuit of creativity, innovation, and management excellence. I embarked on my journey as an industrial designer, with roles as a concept illustrator and CAD draftsman, mastering the art of blending aesthetics with functionality.Leveraging my acquired knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit, I founded a product design consultancy - Threshold Design that specialises in furniture, event, and retail design and fabrication. This venture honed my skills in business management, product design, and manufacturing, all while shaping my leadership acumen as I navigated the complexities of running a successful consultancy for more than 10 years.Parallel to my business, my commitment to nurturing the next generation of designers led me to a lecturing role at renowned institutions RMIT and Swinburne universities. For eight years, I imparted practical knowledge and industry insights in the realms of design and manufacturing to aspiring students.Presently, I am pursuing a PhD in Design at Swinburne University, with a focus on Radical Innovation and disruptive generative AI.
