President of a manufacturing firm in home furnishings, specifically cutting and sewing fabrics for draperies, bedding and table top as well as assembly of other window covering and hardware.We had two sites and home workers. Total employment full time ranged as high as 170 with 30 home workers. We developed a legacy software system for MRP, we used Microsoft Office Tools to enhance systems especially Access and Excel. I am very proficient in Excel and have taught many users skills in pivot tables, data manipulation and setting up budgets.I have travelled extensively for business in China and India. I led a direct sourcing initiative that developed lasting relationships. I maintain contacts in Asia in textiles, window and door hardware and retail fulfillment. I have led Lean Manufacturing implementation and participated in many training seminars. We secured two state grants to develop these programs. I worked closely with MassMEP
